This specification covers one type of electric drive for the Gun, 20mm, Automatic: M61 and M61A1. The drive consists of a 474-cycle, 208 volt, dual wound rotor, 3-phase alternating current motor equipped with an integral, normally applied 28 volt direct current brake and associated gearing.
