MIL MIL-DTL-45910D – Insert, Screw Thread-Locked in and Ring Locked, Serrated General Specification for
This specification covers the requirements for locked in inserts. The method of locking in the insert should be by means of a serrated collar and an accessory lock ring with matching serrations installed within the parent material to prevent rotation (see 6.1).
