This military handbook, MIL-HDBK- 1035, provides criteria for the design or acquisition of Army and Navy Military Family Housing and associated facilities. These criteria may be used in developing a “whole house” project scope of work, for improvement, or repair. Serviceable existing construction or equipment shall not be replaced solely on the grounds that it does not comply with criteria set forth in this handbook.
