This handbook summarized the state of the art for positive pressure CB collective protection shelters and contains information useful for the planning, design, testing, and evaluation of collective protective equipment. The systems described in this handbook provide protection against chemical and biological agents and radioactive particulate matter; however, protection is not afforded against gamma radiation and neutrons. Collective protection for aircraft and naval ships is not addressed in this handbook because of the peculiar nature of their operating environments and protection requirements.
