This specification covers the general composition and the physical, chemical, and low temperature properties of certain polymeric compounds used in the insulating and jacketing of electrical cables, cords, and wires, as determined on specimens removed therefrom, but does not cover compounds for hookup wires nor items where the wall thickness of the insulation or jacket is less than .006 inch.
